iheartfaces – Jump For Joy!

This week’s  iheartfaces photo challenge theme is “Jump For Joy!” My photo for this week is far from a perfect shot, but I love the fun and spontaneity of it.  I wish it was more in focus and that I had been standing back a bit further so her head wouldn’t have been cropped off, but I guess that’s what happens when you get an unexpected shot.  I was trying so hard to get some fun shots and Evie just wasn’t in the mood that day.  Finally her Daddy stepped in and cheered her up a bit.  Even with it’s imperfections, I love this shot because it truly shows my girl’s personality.

iheartfaces – We Heart Kisses

Valentine’s Day is coming up and to celebrate, the iheartfaces photo challenge theme this week is “We Heart Kisses”.  The photo I picked this week happened a bit by accident.  We had a little more snow than expected last Friday and when I picked the kids up they were begging to play in the snow.  We played outside for over and hour and had fun making a snowman.  When I stopped to take some pictures of the kids with the snowman, Zach leaned over and gave the snowman a kiss.

iheartfaces – We Are Family

A week sure does go by fast, eh?  That means it’s time for another iheartfaces photo challenge.  This week’s theme is “We Are Family” which means you get to see my face for a change!

As usual, I wasn’t prepared for this challenge, so I scrambled around last night trying to get my husband and kids to cooperate while I played with my new wireless remote trigger.  They were much more interested in playing Mario Bros. on the Wii than they were in a photo shoot, so I snapped a few and figured I’d take what I could get.  It certainly won’t win any rewards, but I can say I participated and well, it’s pretty typical of my family!

iheartfaces – Best Face Photo

It’s time for my first iheartfaces weekly challenge of 2010! This week’s theme is “Best Face Photo” and they are asking for your best face photo from either December 2009 or early January 2010. I took a ton of photos during December thanks to my awesome new camera, but this is the one that has stuck out as my favorite!

It started snowing Christmas day and the kids were begging to get out and play in it. We finally got out on New Year’s Eve and Evie got to experience her first time really playing in the snow. She was unsure at first, but once she got used to it she really had fun!

Sleeping Beauty - 3

This week’s I ♥ Faces challenge is Sweet Dreams. I must have taken hundreds of photos of Evie sleeping when she was a baby. She just looked so peaceful every time she would drift off. These days I can barely catch her sitting still, much less sleeping!

I ♥ Faces – Autumn Beauty

This week’s I ♥ Faces challenge is Autumn Beauty. I had plans of getting my kids out in the leaves last weekend for a fun Autumn shot, but the weather didn’t cooperate. It was cold and rainy all weekend so we didn’t get outside at all. Instead, I pulled up this photo from last Thanksgiving. I love this shot of my daughter. Looking back at it now she looks so tiny.
