So, if you had a little bit of money saved up and knew you were getting a little bit more for your birthday and you really wanted a new camera (but can’t afford the DSLR that you really want) what would you buy? Would you get a tiny little camera that you can easily stick in a purse or diaper bag and carry with you everywhere, or would you go for something a little bulkier that was a little more advanced and could possibly help you take amazing pictures of your soon to be born daughter? Any brand/model suggestions?
This is a good question – I purchased a DSLR about 6 months ago and we’re expecting our first baby in July and I was thinking that although the pictures are really fantastic it’s a little more then I want to carry around with me everywhere I go. I’ve been looking at this one: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/484784-REG/Canon_1774B001_PowerShot_A560_Digital_Camera.html from B&H – it’s a Cannon and it’s 7 Megapixels so it will still take some nice photos and it’s $99 so you could keep on saving for the DSLR too. I just don’t want to miss anything because I was too lazy to drag the big camera around with me everyday. I’m going to watching the comments to see other recommendations.
