7 & 7

Alicia tagged me for this 7 and 7 meme, so I guess I’ll try to spit it out real quick before I get to work.

Seven things that attract me to my partner:
his smile
his wrinkles around his eyes when he smiles
that he loves me no matter how much I piss him off
his love for my family
his family (believe it or not!)
his big arms that hold me tight just when I need it
the hugs & kisses

Seven Things to Do Before I Die:
have at least one more child
become financially stable
buy a house
meet my grandchildren
travel to all 50 states
run my own business
play my guitar like a rockstar

Seven Things I Cannot Do:
save money (I’m really terrible at this)
play my guitar like a rockstar
sleep for more than 3 hours at a time
run long distances (my body was not made for that)
draw (as creative as I am, and as much as I want to, I just can’t do it well)
say no when someone asks for my help
forgive and FORGET when someone has hurt me

Seven Things I Say Most Often:
dude
stinker butt
bubba, no! (to the dog)
seriously
Oh my God (need to work on that)
who did that? (between the dog, baby, and hubby I never quite know!)
I want…

Seven Books (or Book Series) I Love:
not much time to read these days, but here’s a few:
Nicholas Sparks (anything by him)
Stephen King books
Harry Potter (hoping to read someday soon)

Seven Movies I Would Watch Over and Over Again: (and already do!)
Fever Pitch
50 First Dates
Grease
When A Man Loves A Woman
The Shining
The Wedding Singer
Big Daddy

Seven Favorite Meals:
Pizza
Spagetti
Monterey Chicken Burrito
Jambalaya
McDonald’s Crispy Chicken Ranch BLT & fries
Grilled Cheese sandwich & tomato soup
Monkey Bread (it’s great for breakfast when I’m not on a diet!)

Seven People I Tag To Do Seven Sevens:
I’m not gonna tag anyone, but if you want to do it, let me know so I can come check it out.

p.s.  My new phone just got here!  I’m so glad I got it before I had to leave!!!

in only one short year. Happy 1st Birthday Ryan! I cannot believe you are already a whole entire year old. I hope that someday you will know how much joy you have brought into the lives of our whole family. I can still remember the day your mama told me she was pregnant with you. We were all so excited. I really look forward to watching you grow up and hope that you will always know just how much your Aunt loves you.

My Precious…

This baby is FINALLY mine!  I’ve been wanting one for a while and my phone has been really crappy lately.  So, hubby decided that for my Christmas present (which we were not supposed to buy this year) he wanted to get this for me.  It should arrive Friday and I’m really hoping that it will get here before we leave for Louisiana or I will be one very sad girl.

Year In Review Meme

I’ve seen this on so many blogs now that I can’t remember where I first saw it. The idea is to take the first line of the first entry for each month of the year and that is your year in review. I thought it looked like fun, so here is my year in review for 2005.

January- Well, 2005 is here. I’m not jumping up and down with excitement.

February- What would I do without the internet?

March- First off, I just want to say one more time that I love Rhapsody.

April- I arrived at work Friday morning to find out I had a virus on my computer.

May- I never thought I would be saying it, but it is kinda nice to get back to the calmness of the office today.

June- I don’t know what it is about the month of June, but it has always been one of my favorite months of the year.

July- At 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 26th I woke up for yet another trip to the restroom. Moments later I realized that my water had broken and Zachary was on his way.

August- Zachary started smiling this weekend.

September- It’s that time of year again. The football season has officially begun.

October- I think we should have Mondays off work to recover from the weekend.

November- Zach had a great time spending Halloween with is cousins.

December- I’m feeling pretty good today. Zach actually slept for 5 1/2 hours straight lastnight before he woke up.

Procrastinating again

I don’t know why when I have a HUGE amount of stuff to do that I just sit here and procrastinate. Thursday afternoon I’m going to be running around here like crazy trying to get everything finished up before I go out of town. I know I have tons of stuff to do, but I just can’t make myself do it.

So, instead, here is what I’ve been up to today. I took a somewhat extended lunch break and did some more Christmas shopping at Old Navy. I got two more gifts bought, which only leaves one more personal gift and one family gift left to figure out. Then, since I’ve been doing so good on my diet and I’ve been majorly craving some greasy fast food I decided to cheat a bit today and have lunch at BK. I did, however, get a diet Coke instead of the regular one that I wanted. I haven’t figured up my points for what I ate yet, but it tasted really good.

I followed a link today from one person’s blog to the new blog of one of my old tblog friends. She is now blogging at http://www.mindsay.com which is kind of a cool site. I wanted to leave her a comment, so I had to sign up for an account. I think I have about a bazillion online accounts now, so I just went ahead and signed up. When I was filling out some of the profile information for my location, it popped up a list of other people from my area. I glanced through the list and the first one on there was someone I used to know. She just happens to be the fiance of someone who screwed my husband out of about $250 bucks a few years back. It has been a long time and he is over the money issue, but shortly after that happened the “friend” just disappeared from his life. Eventually, we ended up seeing him again at a mutual friend’s house. He apologized but obviously had no intention of ever paying the money back. I had also given him some of my furniture so the way the whole thing went down still kinda pisses me off. Anyway, so I was nosey and read her blog a bit. It seems they are moving to Phoenix after Christmas which makes me happy. I don’t have to worry about ever running in to them again. But, now the question lingering in my mind is whether to continue reading the blog that I found or to just forget about it. I think my curiosity may get the best of me, but I’m not really sure why I would want to waste my time on her.
