I’m a little late posting this week. It was one of those weeks where things were just a little crazy. Caleb turned three last week. I debated whether to turn this week’s post into my traditional birthday post, but couldn’t decide whether to or not and then I just didn’t write anything. So, here it is Saturday and I’m finally getting around to it.
So the little man is three. It is hard to believe that we have already had three incredible years with this guy. It has been an amazing ride so far and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here. Oh, and apparently three-year-olds don’t wear shirts, or shoes, or socks, or…pants most of the time. Or so it seems anyway. Who needs clothes when it is only 7 degrees and snowing outside anyway? Fortunately, clothes are only optional at home (so far).

Caleb pretty much wanted nothing to do with his food and would only eat the whipped cream on the cheesecake. Sometimes I really wonder where this kid came from. I caved and gave him my ipad so I could sit and enjoy my meal.
After lunch, Caleb had a gift card to spend at Target so we headed over there where he picked out a new Octonauts toy and a fireman hat (or “whee-whoo” hat, as he calls it). He was quite proud of his purchases.
